Northeast Georgia Military Officers Association of America

 President's Welcome Letter

Welcome and thank you for visiting the Northeast Georgia Military Officers Association of America (NEGMOAA) Website. Our association members are located within the counties of  Elbert, Franklin, Habersham, Hart, Rabun, Stephens, Towns, Union and White. This website provides information related to our organization. Additionally, it provides links to important organizations and topics of interest. One of the chief functions of our association and the website is to provide information on how to become affiliated with MOAA and one of our chapters that would be near you. MOAA and NEGMOAA represent one powerful voice in the effort to obtain and secure earned military benefits for all present and past military members and their families.

Our chapter is also involved in many activities to foster support for the military and to facilitate relationships between the services and the civilian communities in Northeast Georgia. These activities include projects like, supporting Junior ROTC and ROTC units with medals and scholarships, supporting our troops who are deployed in the war against terrorism and to remember our veterans from past conflicts and engage in programs to recognize and appreciate their service.

In addition to supporting our current chapter we are interested in promoting NEGMOAA membership to share information  wherever there is interest. If you are an active duty, National Guard, reserve, retired, or former military officer who is already a personal member of MOAA, or not, and are interested in becoming actively involved and associating with fellow military officers in striving to maintain and improve the benefits to which you are entitled as a serving or formerly serving service person and serving your local communities and reside in the Northeast of Georgia, please contact NEGMOAA at Again, thank you for visiting the NEGMOAA Website. We have tried to make it user friendly and include all the information you need to join us. We welcome any suggestions or ideas you have on ways to improve the website. Please visit us again soon.
